About Including US
Vision of Including Us
- We believe that inclusion is fundamental
to a person’s mental well being
- There is a strong link
between exclusion and mental ill health
Aims of Including Us
- To promote positive steps for all to
mental well being (at and individual,
community and structural level).
- To challenge discrimination
and exclusion
and its effect on mental health (eg on the grounds of racism, sexism, stigma).
Editorial Policy for Including Us
- Articles should be written in everyday
language and it helps to avoid jargon.
- The editors will always
try and include
articles, however this is not always
possible as space is limited. If you would
like to submit articles for inclusion it
would be helpful if they:
- fit in with the aims of Including Us
- are brief (200-300 words
is ideal)
- are timely and in date
The editors will try and keep articles in
their original format as much as possible.
However, small changes will be made,
and jargon will be explained. If the
article has significant changes the author
will be consulted before going to print.
Note articles published will also be
posted on the Including Us website.
The opinions expressed are those of individual contributors. If you
have any
comments please contact us; we’d welcome your feedback.
